Business NOW Account
This is a tiered rate account. Daily Collected Balances earn interest as follows:
- Below $500 will cause no interest to be earned that statement period.
- $500 - $2499.99 earn Tier 1*
- $2500 and over earn Tier 2*
*Interest rate sheets available upon request.
*Deposits of an individual used in his or her business, including a sole proprietorship, or an individual doing business under a trade name are eligible to be placed in a NOW account in the individual’s name or in the DBA name.
All organizations that are operated for profit, except those discussed above, are not eligible to maintain NOW accounts at depository institutions. Consequently, entities such as corporations, partnerships, associations, business trusts or other organizations may not maintain NOW accounts.
